Assisted Travel QR.png

Available at managed stations to support older or disabled customers or those with reduced mobility. Help will be given to navigate the station, board and alight the train, find your seat and use a ramp if needed. Wheelchairs are available at all managed stations and, at some locations, buggies are also provided to assist with long distances between meeting points and platforms.

Mondays 10.30am-12pm. A coffee morning at the Palace Gate Centre for those living with grief to support each other. This is a friendly and relaxed group for bereaved older adults who come to chat and meet new friends. The group welcomes new members. There is a £1 fee to cover coffee, tea and room hire.

A free, confidential telephone service for older people. They provide friendship, conversation and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Age UK's Silver Line Helpline gives anyone aged 55 or over the opportunity to exchange a friendly word, access support, or enjoy a long enriching conversation.
