Friendly team of volunteers offer a warm welcome for all in comfortable surroundings. At each cafe, there is always a variety of fun activities, tea, coffee and cake and the availability of information. There is no fee but donations are always appreciated. 3rd Wednesday of each month, 2pm–4pm.

The out of hours dental service is for patients in need of relief from acute dental pain, acute infection, bleeding or trauma. There are only a small number of urgent dental appointments available.


Dementia is a syndrome (a group of related symptoms) associated with an ongoing decline of brain functioning. There are many different causes of dementia, and many different types.


Remember that Song is a group for people in the early to moderate stages of dementia and their carers. The aims of the group are to increase communication, provide a social network around the activity of singing, be positive about dementia and supportive of those who take part.


Using the rich history and heritage of sport, Sporting Memories club is open to those over the age of 50 who enjoy reminiscing about their experiences of watching or playing sport. The club takes place each week at a variety of locations, including Thursdays at St James Park, and is a friendly, welcoming environment that is open to all.


Memory Café is a welcoming space for individuals with memory loss and their caregivers.


Imagine a collective of unpaid carers of people with dementia with the advocacy skills, knowledge and passion for making positive change for everyone impacted by dementia. Thanks to the work of tide, you don’t have to imagine. Tide works side by side with carers to ensure that their voices are heard.
