Working to find a community hub in central Exeter, offering a physical space for the public to interact with local environmental and social groups and projects. Where everyone can come together to tackle the climate and ecological crisis, and the social issues which are interwoven with the systematic issues causing climate breakdown.

If you are concerned about the climate crisis, the ecological crisis, or maybe you fear for the future, or mourn the loss of wildlife or just the everyday cost of living crisis. There are many crises to worry or be fearful about and these concerns do not go away. If you also feel this way then lighten the load, share those concerns over a coffee in a safe, small group setting and meet others who are likewise affected.


Supporting and empowering community groups to act towards a more sustainable future. They provide community groups with a grant to cover insurance costs, provide guidance, training and opportunities for networking and sharing skills with other groups. The focus is primarily revolved around of waste reduction, composting, sharing, re-use, repair, biodiversity, energy and other sustainability initiatives.


Helping to enable and empower communities across Devon to tackle insecurities and inequalities that can arise from living in a rural county. Whether in market or coastal towns, villages or hamlets, communities face lots of challenges, which are being exacerbated by the Cost of Living Crisis. Supporting communities to address these challenges through a wide range of projects and services that make a real difference.

An umbrella group for over 80 local organisations in Exeter. Promoting educating the public on climate, biodiversity and social justice issues. Helping to build a better Exeter and a better world.



An international movement that uses non-violent civil disobedience in an attempt to halt mass extinction and minimise the risk of social collapse. The local Exeter group aims to put pressure on the UK government to take the urgent action required.

A group of local residents who run, walk, or cycle to help out community projects and older people in Exeter. From hanging curtains because someone can't manage it on their own, to shovelling a tonne of compost for the Food Growers Group so they can grow vegetables - every GoodGym session is different.
